Cynthia Doucette
Say No to Drugs" is a message Mrs Maine wishes her daughter, Candice, would have taken to heart before her young soul was tragically stolen by drugs in 2003.
In the United States teenagers and young adults are dying at alarmingly increasing rates due to making poor choices with respect to drugs, including alcohol. Methadone deaths alone rose from six in 1999 to sixty-one in 2005, to a rate now of 4.6 deaths per 100,000 people, the nation's highest. Methadone ranks only second to alcohol in killing our young adults.
Mrs Maine has worked tirelessly since her daughter's dealth, including appearances on Fox News and she has written a book entitled, "It Can Happen to Any Family." Cindy works with Steve Marois at Reality Productions and hosts a show airing in Maine. The show is also called, "It Can Happen To Any Family."
Cindy and her husband David have been married for 29 years. They have three children: Travis, Candice and Chelsey. She is a self-employed cosmotologist for 28 years and assists her husband with their family excavating and logging business.
Cindy is a lifelong resident of Maine and you will find her, in all she has to say, captivating. In the meantime, please visit www.itcanhappentoanyfamily.comfor more information.
